This blog is experiencing technical difficulties. Our blog author has been suffering from insomnia, latenight anxiety, and writer’s block. We have enrolled her in a new gym in the hopes that she will kick the sleepless cycle and she can return to her blogly duties.
Please stay tuned, we shall return to our regularly scheduled silliness as soon as possible.
Waiting patiently…

Aw hon, sorry to hear it. There is a product here called “Vivinox” which I use when I get struck with the sleepless nights. It’s all natural, valerian root, passion flower and hops. If all else fails, I usually turn to pharmaceuticals, nothing worse than months of sleepless nights.
Hope you find some peace my friend!
P.S. I watched Flight of the Conchords on MaxPrime last night and was thinking of you! Fun show!

I’m sorry you’re having a hard time sleeping. I’ve battled insomnia nearly my entire life – I feel your frustration. Hang in there. Insomnia is strange – for me it never goes totally away but after a bad bout, it usually subsides. Seriously, working out (cardio) consistently does seem to help me. Unfortunately, I struggle with the “consistently” part.

I don’t really recommend a dose of salmonella but in the last two days I have slept for 48 hours.

I suffer from bouts of insomnia also. No matter what I do, I just toss and turn for what seems all night. I might just try that Vivonox also. Anyway, hope you get over this soon. Sounds like you are on the right track.

Pobrecita, I feel for you, it is a rare night that I experience sleeplessness but I can imagine it would be terrible. I too miss your wit and I hope you get yourself enough rest to wow the crap out of me in your next post.
No pressure.

awww! Sweetie! I’m so sorry that the mimi’s are not finding you. Keep trying things, I still think large amounts of melatonin are the key but different things work for different people.
I miss you and hope to see you here soon.

If it makes you feel any better, I’m not sleeping either. I’m too anxious for Josh to be home. I figure at least I’ll catch up on some sleep then. hopefully the working out works for you. I know it helps, but for me when I haven’t slept, the last thing I have energy for is working out.

Hey Heather!
Hope you’re feeling better these days! I wanted to leave another comment because I’m hoping one day to do what you’ve done, move to Mexico. I’m heading down there in a month, and have just found your blog. I’d like to see your archives if they’re still available. If you spot this, please send me an email.
