I been reading your blog for the past few months now, and as a Chicago girl,and life long Cubs fan, I have to make a comment.

You’ll be back, and so will I. Even though I’ve been calling them those loosers for the past few days. As soon as the winter meetings get underway, and new deals are made, hope will spring eternal again.

And, where was my 83 year old grandmother and lifelong Cubs fan while I was home drowning my sorrows in mini snickers bars? At a local latin club, drinking scotch and water, and asking younger guys to dance. While keeping tabs on the games on the TV there. Next year I’m hanging with Grannie.
