Finding great blogs to read is my favorite pastime. A while back, I found through a mutual friend’s myspace page a blog written by a woman from Chicago who works at the music venue where I also used to work. Her writing is funny and pointed and biting, often cutting to the very heart of an issue with a lack of bullshit that is breathtaking. Her attention to detail and social commentary is astounding. Putting it as simply as I can, this woman does not suffer fools.
She is a volunteer for Obama’s campaign and has been writing frequent election updates/stats. Her most recent two posts killed me and I think they should be seen by as many eyes as possible.
Warning: She’s profane at times, but not as profane as I am watching the Cubs

in all deference to your friend, heather, biden is a found out plagerist. he’s a 35 year political insider. and he believes that when the great depression occurred, fdr was in office and went on tv to give a response. that by no way pardons the disdain i have for the “maverick” mccain for calling for no earmarks and then voting for an additional billion dollars plus worth of pork. once again, our choices are so limited: an untested and chicago machine connected dem who speaks with broad strokes and can’t deliver specifics with a pol insider as his running mate vs. a flip flop repub who has a very naive running mate albeit very refreshing yet still out of her league. sad, sad, and more sad. did i say sad???

I am Canadian. I live very close to the border with Washington State. On Thursday I purchased a button from the Democratic office in Bellingham, WA. It says…..
¡Si Se Puede! The staff in the office said they were sorry Canadians couldn’t vote in the November election.
I like your friend! She’s hot but Sarah Palin is not. I read somewhere that Palin was chosen because she is thought to be attractive and a clean slate. With grooming she could be the next Dick Cheney only with a skirt and a wink. She scares me. And I am only a foreign observer!!!
