A MARCHING BAND?! And a subsequent PARADE?! With giant speakers blasting MUSIC?! Past my HOUSE?! At 8 AM?! In celebration of LABOR DAY?!
Remember this the next time you think how relaxing it would be to move to a quiet little beach town in Mexico.
P.S. The dogs, they just LOVED the marching band.

Don’t hate Franky and Vinnie because they have spirit.

Here on the island, I couldn’t find a parking spot near my “office”! I was late for coffee! All because somebody was giving out free, ugly t-shirts to workers if they would march around a little bit. At least the police here had something to do…directing tourists to please not knock over the orange cones and go down that street!

Three six nine
The goose drank wine
The monkey chewed tabacco
On the streetcar line
The line broke
The monkey got choked
And the all went to heaven in a little rowboat
Clap Clap
That was a lot of words to get to clapping, but sometimes life is like that and shit

Arrrrrrrr- I remember the schools marching band also loved to parade around playing samba-ish tunes at eight in the morning on random mornings, right in front of the appartment.
Didn’t fill me with delight, not really.
