Lol…Nice post.

I completely agree with Leslie Howard in Pygmalion. I can’t believe I’m saying this but he was kind of hot in Gone With the Wind, but I think that has to do with what he brought to that role more than the character itself; I’m not a fan of Ashley Wilkes in some ways. But yeah, Howard made a better Mr. Higgins than Rex Harrison did in My Fair Lady.

Other crushes:

Gregory Peck (hot Atticus!), The Beatles (all of them as young men!), James Cagney (I know this one’s probably weird!), James Stewart (especially younger!), Ray Davies of the Kinks (possibly sexiest rock frontmen ever!!), and many many others. I love men with sexy voices; most of these fit that description imho.

It’s so nice to see that all your other friends did as I did and had to walk down there memory lane of crushes…. Obviously I was kidding about a few…. But hmm Dave Otto…. How did I miss the team photo that year?? I am mad a little about that..Do you remember when that one kid….hmmmm I cant remember his name but he was the equipment manager …forgot the balls at a game and Swish went OFF on the bus where you and I were sitting?

Oh man, what a great post and thread of comments, I’m in a time machine!

My first real crush was Michael Jackson, my walls were plastered with cheap posters held up by sticky tack. Add to that any Duran Duran member (though favouring Roger, always had a thing for drummers), Christopher Reeve as Superman, Kurt Thomas the gymnast and Baryshnikov the ballet daner. Oh, and Nadia Comaneci, “She’s Perfect” and Dorothy Hamill, I kept her haircut for many, many years.
